Cream (main color)

4–6 colorful sunburst squares (for straps + accents)
Basic Granny Square Pattern
Magic ring
Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc, ch 2; repeat 3 more times, sl st to join
Round 2: In each corner: (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc), sides: 3 dc
Continue until square is ~4–5 inches
Fasten off

Magic ring
Round 1: 12 dc in ring
Round 2: Puff stitches in each stitch (creates “petals”)
Round 3: Work into spaces to form square shape

Simple flower:
Magic ring, (ch 2, 3 dc, ch 2, sl st) ×5
Pull tight, fasten off
Sew onto bag later

Layout:
Front panel: 2 × 2 squares
Back panel: 2 × 2 squares
Sides: 1 square each side
Bottom: 2 squares
Join using:
