๐ผ Daisy Motif (make multiple)
Yarn: cotton yarn (white, yellow, green)
Hook: ~3–4 mm
Center (yellow)
Magic ring
10–12 sc into ring, sl st to join
Fasten off or switch to white
Petals (white)
(Work in same stitches around)
ch 2, 3 dc, ch 2, sl st in same stitch → repeat in each stitch
You should get puffy petal clusters all around.
Fasten off.
Joining Round (green mesh)
Join green yarn in any space between petals:
ch 5, sl st in next space between petals → repeat around
On second round: ch 5, sc in next chain space to build a hex-like mesh
This creates the green “net” look holding flowers together.
๐งฉ Assembly
Make enough daisies (approx. 10–14 depending on size)
Join them as you go with the green mesh round:
Instead of chaining freely, slip stitch into adjacent motif loops to connect
Arrange in a grid (like in the image: ~3 × 4 layout)
๐ Shaping the Top
Leave armholes by skipping joins on upper sides
For the top edge:
Add a row of sc or hdc across
For straps:
Chain long cords (~100–120 chains)
Attach to corners
Optional: crochet small daisies onto straps like in the image
✨ Finishing
Weave in ends
Light blocking helps flowers sit flat
