🧢 Materials

  • Yarn: 3 colors (dark pink, light pink, cream/white)

  • Hook: ~4–5 mm (depending on yarn)

  • Yarn needle + scissors


🌸 Pattern (Flower Granny Square)

Round 1 – Center (dark pink)

  1. Make a magic ring (or ch 4, join to form a ring).

  2. Ch 3 (counts as dc), then work 11 dc into the ring.

  3. Join with sl st. (12 stitches total)


Round 2 – Petals (dark pink)

  1. Ch 1.

  2. In each stitch: (sc, ch 2, sc) → creates small petal bumps.

  3. Join with sl st.


Round 3 – Build petals (switch to light pink)

  1. Join new yarn in any ch-2 space.

  2. In each space: (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc).

  3. Repeat around → you’ll see petal clusters forming.

  4. Join with sl st.


Round 4 – Expanding flower (light pink)

  1. Slip stitch into the ch-1 space.

  2. In each space: (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc).

  3. This starts shaping the square.

  4. Join with sl st.


Round 5 – Turn into square (light pink)

  1. Continue in corners: (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc).

  2. Between corners: 3 dc in each gap.

  3. Join with sl st.


Round 6 – Border (cream/white)

  1. Switch yarn.

  2. Work single crochet (sc) evenly around.

  3. In corners: (sc, ch 2, sc).

  4. Join and fasten off
