Yarn: 3 colors (dark pink, light pink, cream/white)
Hook: ~4–5 mm (depending on yarn)
Yarn needle + scissors
πΈ Pattern (Flower Granny Square)
Round 1 – Center (dark pink)
Make a magic ring (or ch 4, join to form a ring).
Ch 3 (counts as dc), then work 11 dc into the ring.
Join with sl st. (12 stitches total)
Round 2 – Petals (dark pink)
Ch 1.
In each stitch: (sc, ch 2, sc) → creates small petal bumps.
Join with sl st.
Round 3 – Build petals (switch to light pink)
Join new yarn in any ch-2 space.
In each space: (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc).
Repeat around → you’ll see petal clusters forming.
Join with sl st.
Round 4 – Expanding flower (light pink)
Slip stitch into the ch-1 space.
In each space: (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc).
This starts shaping the square.
Join with sl st.
Round 5 – Turn into square (light pink)
Continue in corners: (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc).
Between corners: 3 dc in each gap.
Join with sl st.
Round 6 – Border (cream/white)
Switch yarn.
Work single crochet (sc) evenly around.
In corners: (sc, ch 2, sc).
Join and fasten off
